Below is a list of items that will assist you when you are coordinating Youth Leadership Programs.
-Gavel (may be able to borrow it from your club and of course return it weekly).
-Stop watch (as above).
-Timing lights (as above) or cards.
-Coloured markers (used to make attendees desktop name tags)
-Paper (coloured is nice) folded in 3 so as to make desktop name tags.
-Spare writing paper – for use of participants during the meeting.
-Spare pens / pencils – for use of participants during the meeting.
-Role descriptions – Toastmaster, Table Topics Master, Wordmaster, AhUm Counter, Timer, etc. These can be placed into plastic sheet protectors along with the Role nameplates below. (to obtain samples, click here).
-Role nameplates – (Toastmaster, Table Topics Master, Wordmaster, AhUm Counter, Timer, etc.) (to obtain samples, click here).
-White board markers, if appropriate. Eraser or paper towels.
-Certificates for participants – can purchase from Toastmasters International (TI) or become creative (to view samples, click here).
-Award cards for presenting a speech (to view a sample click here)
-YLP manuals – for coordinator and participants from TI -(may be used as reference or in some cases issued to each participant-circumstances vary)
